Dustin enters MTC in Provo

We flew into Salt Lake late on Tuesday night, and spent the night with Jan's parents, Frank and Jo Gonzalez. The next morning, Wednesday 5.28.08, we got up early, took Frank & Jo out for breakfast at Jim's Family Restaurant. We then dropped them back home, said good-byes, and drove down to Provo. We picked up some last minute items at Deseret Book, Missionary Mall, BYU Bookstore, then killed some time just driving around Provo. We arrived at the MTC, along with hundreds of other new missionaries, and families. After having done this 3 other times, it was probable the hardest. I am very proud of Dustin, and the steps and the decisions, that he has made in his life.Dustin with Grandma & Grandpa Gonzalez

Trip to Frisco Texas

We had a trip planned for Lubbock, Frisco, Little Rock, Memphis, and Nashville. American airlines had other plans. Our flights got canceled, so rather than do nothing we just went to Frisco, and hung out with Jeremy, Jenny, Caden, Cooper and Coty for the weekend. We had a great time, the weather was great. We got to see Caden play baseball, care for the Ginnie Pig, play with the grand kids, go out to eat, and eat, and saw an Arena Football game. Jason Fife plays for the Dallas team and got us tickets. We hooked up with them afterwards at Chili's for food and visiting. All in all we had a great time. Cody attacking his favorite toy!
